HOW TO GRIND GLASS



Grinding stone
A grinding stone often thought of as old-fashioned, but is extremely useful to have when working on lead came projects, or even for glass painting. The purpose of a grinding stone is sumply to "linish" the sharp glass edges, that is, render them harmless. A linished edge will elimininate the risk of cutting yourself while glass painting or leading, and the risk of slicing through copper foil as you apply it.
